I would be careful about using Airbnb because in some cities

that service is against the law and most people don't even realize it. I saw a news story a few months ago where people used the service while in NYC. A neighbor called the cops on the couple because they were not supposed to be there. I think some cities view that as a version of subleasing. In the story Airbnb said it doesn't monitor whether people advertising the site are complying with the local laws. It is the responsibility of the people posting the ad and people using the service to do the research.
